Can I play the Switch version on Switch 2 now?

Nintendo’s US Switch product page marks Switch 2 compatibility as supported, with game behavior consistent with Nintendo Switch. That backward-compatible release is distinct from the dedicated Switch 2 version due November 10.

Nintendo says Switch 2 owners can update their Switch game for free on November 10, gaining enhanced visuals. An internet connection is required to obtain that update. Do not interpret the future upgrade as already delivered or assume it grants unspecified camera or controller features.
